Only you can give me unbiased advice. My hair is way too long right now, and I want to do a PWC. But I can’t decide on the length. I had a pixie back when I was in my early 20s and loved it, but that was almost 10 years (and almost 10 lbs) ago! Not sure I can rock it like I did then. My hair is wavy/frizzy with a little curl, depending entirely on the weather. I only have one, not-so-great pic on my computer from back when I had the pixie cut, but here it is:
And here’s me now, with my glasses (please excuse the shiny face):

I’d go with the shoulder-length bob, because you can always go shorter with ease if you don’t like it 🙂

Do you have any pics with your hair down touching your face?

But your so cute, honestly you could rock anythign! So Jealous

@sarahbabs: Excellent point.
Oh, you are too sweet! Thank you.
@Mrs.Firefly1: Let me see what I can dig up. In most pics I have it pulled back, because I am terrible at styling my own hair.
Ok wow, that took FOREVER! I apparently never wear my hair down. Here’s the best I could do. Sorry for the extreme closeup; it was the night before my friend’s wedding (she’s on the left) and we were tipsy!

@mightywombat: Aw, it’s too cute : )
You can honestly do anything, you’re so lucky! But if you wear it up most of the time, and it’s in a short bob, will you want to do your hair everyday? It’s hard to pull it back when it’s in a short bob. I guess the bottom line is how much maintenance you want!

@Mrs.Firefly1: Another good point. I’m not sure. Maybe if I could get the stylist to show me what I needed to do…

I’m probably biased since I’m a pixie girl myself, but I think you would still look totally adorable with a pixie cut. I also find it much more comfortable and less work than longer styles.
I have wavy/curly hair, and for the brief time I had a chin-length bob, it was a major PITA. I couldn’t get it out of my face and one side always flipped the wrong way no matter what I did. With my current hair I just wet it, work in some styling goop, spike or smooth as desired, and I’m out the door.

Shameless bump for more opinions

I have very short hair and I love it. LESS HAIR = LESS WORK!!!

You know what I’m gonna say 😛
So easy to style, 2 minutes under the towel and a little bit of product and you’re good to go! Don’t have to worry about humidity, or going swimming, or driving with the windows open, or any of the times you have to think “But my hair will get messed up if I do that!”. All it takes is a fluff with the fingers to put it back into place.

I think the shoulder length hair. I think longer hair looks best on you, personally. You can’t go wrong either way. I think a short bob might be more work than anything, you can’t even throw it back if you wanted.

maybe you should have a look at the face shape that you have and then google images of ppl who also have that same face shape.
to me it looks like you’ve got a heart/ inverted triangle shaped face. (but im not an expert:))
you figure it out but taking a front on photo of yourself and then trace around your face.. and then the shap thats left is you face shape…
anyways i think you could rock a edged bob! try starting out longer and then when you really like it stop chopping!

MMMMmmm pancakes! (?)
I love the idea of the no muss no fuss pixie, but I am partial to the longer hair.
