I am an Encore Bride… lol, so that had a lot to do with what I chose… and WHY

I made it a point that this time round… my Wedding would be very different from my first.

My first Wedding I had shortish hair (natural colour dark), and wore it down.

This time, I grew it long (coloured it light), and wore it up.

Then like many Brides I did the Post-Wedding / Honeymoon chop.

Lol, and changed my look completely again.

I have spent a lot of money on my hair since my Engagement back in April, with all the changes I`ve made.

Hope this helps,

I’m going to have my hair curled and down.  I chose this because it’s easy and I don’t have to have bobby pins in my hair (they give me a headache).  Plus if I get sick of it, I can just tie it up in a ponytail.  For your trial maybe try two very different things, like an updo and then your hair down?

@beautifulmama28: I wanted it different to how i usually wear it, which is just down. I don’t like wearing my hair up, so that wasn’t an option, so went for half up.

I’m an encore bride too!!! lol!!!!!!!!!!!

My first one really had a lot to do with the veil I wanted. The veil dictated that my hair be down, so I just had to work with that.

This time I’m not having a veil so I’m doing a low, lose bun.

For me, I look at other wedding pics and look at the hair I DONT like…..and what I noticed what I dont’ like hair that looks super stiff, super fancy, and super done. It’s just not me. And even though this is my wedding, I still want to look like a wedding version of ME. So while there are SO MANY lovely styles out there people are doing……..most of them just aren’t who I am. I’m just not a fancy girl! That’s been the overwhelming deciding factor for most of the choices…….I want to feel comfortable and I want to look at the pictures and recognize myself.

I wore it curled and mostly down.  I don’t think I look like “me” with an updo.  I just like the naturalness of hair mostly down.

I wore mine up with lots of extensions in it so it was nice and thick. I wish I could have worn it down, because I think it would have been more flattering, but my hair won’t hold a curl at ALL in humidity and it was SO humid the day of our wedding!

<— you can see my hair a bit in my profile pic. I tried to go with my style. I knew i wanted it down – I don’t like the back off my neck. I wanted a big hair accessory so, I adapted it to that. My look was vintage/light/ romantic – so soft curls were a clear choice. What is the inspiration for ure dress? i.e. Highly sophisticated, clean lines, would be IMO a tight bun. Hope this helps.

@beautifulmama28:  I liked how the model of the dress that I got had her hair so I went with that.  I thought it matched the dress.  I’m totally not creative when it comes to hair.

I wanted easy and out of my face. I hate when my hair is in my eyes. I did a sock bun!

I wanted a fun up-do, plus I considered wind as a factor and how it would work with my veil

I chose to wear my hair out the day of my wedding.  My hair has a hard time holding a curl it left down. Plus I didn’t want to be too hot while dancing around. Up was perfect for me I just threw in a Pretty headpiece and veil
