I am glad you decided on the Tiffany’s one, it looks way classier IMO. Plus, what girl doesn’t want to open a little blue box at least once in their lives lol?

The Tiffany one looks a little nicer. AND it is fun to get that little blue box…

I like the style of the Tiffany one more. I don’t think the blue box adds much value, but that particular necklace is dainty and really quite nice.

I have two silver pieces from Tiffany that I’ve worn daily for years and they’ve never tarnished, but I did just take out a ring and a necklace that haven’t been worn in over a year, and those are very badly tarnished. I’d keep that in mind when choosing the Tiffany vs Zales piece, assuming the Zales one is white gold. Regardless, silver pieces can always be polished.

IzzyBear:  +1.  I think the Tiffany is more simple and classy (and not just because it’s Tiffany).

Misswhowedding:  I kind of feel that way, too, but I have a silver star of david necklace from Tiffany’s, and the charm is so small you’d have to be too close to the person to even read that it says Tiffany’s. I guess I’m kind of assuming that, though, because mine doesn’t have the name or any design on it.

BurlapnLace:  Be a little careful with the silver from Tiffany’s. I have a necklace from there, and there are some places where it overlaps that it has turned black. I don’t know if it’s defective, but I only wear it to work or school and back, never in the shower or any sort of water, sleeping, etc.

Tiffany! God I would love to get a little blue box! Imagine the cute pictures you could get of them opening their gifts!

Tiffany, only b/c I can’t imagine the Zales one being very high quality diamonds or anything and probably looks ‘cheap’ compared to Tiffany one, even if it wasn’t a Tiffany

I bought my girls Tiffany necklaces and they all absolutely loved it!  But I know my girls and I know that they like designer items.  If your girls don’t care about that kind of thing, maybe they’d like the diamond necklace more.  Go with what fits your friends.

Tiffany without a doubt! Don’t want to sound rude, but I have read horror stories on here of Zales and similar chains where diamonds fall out and the quality is bad.

BurlapnLace:  Tiffany’s.  And same as PP, not because of the name.  I just like the simple style better than the other.  I see those diamond horseshoes on people all the time, they don’t seem that great of quality.

The Tiffany’s necklace, for sure. It’s just more classy looking – the diamonds in the Zales necklace look dark/poor quality, In My Humble Opinion.
