I am in the midst of a quarterlife crisis, basically, and thought it might be fun/enlightening/therapeutic to hear your stories of your own quarterlife crises. Was there a period of your life where you reevaluated everything you thought you knew? How did this impact your relationships?
Looking forward to hearing your stories!

I had a 1/2 life crisis too. I for some reason cried ALLL day…. My sister and a good friend took me out to lunch… I cried when I ordered, cried when it came, and cried when we were done.
I am NOT a crier, so I have no clue what the deal was. I have since passed 30 and just recently turned 40 and had no issues what so ever. I guess life does get better as you get older is TRUE!
Enjoy who and what you are! Its something no one can EVER take away from you!!

I haven’t had one, but FI’s best friend is going through one right now, we think. They’re curently on a road trip together and I think he’s really venting to Fiance about a lot of things. He doesn’t know what he wants out of life…really wants a Girlfriend but has been single for so long. Wants to settle down, wants a career…
I think for our age group, it’s typical to “just not know” about a lot of things and tend to call it a “crisis.” I think it can be a growing experience. ESPECIALLY if you are surrounded by awesome people who can help reassure you that everything is ok. 🙂
So I’m sure, for you, that everything is ok. 🙂

Oh, my quarter life crisis started about 5 years ago. I’ll let you know when its over, lol. But seriously, I don’t feel confident or settled with any long term decision I’ve made in the last 5 or so years. I feel like I have to completely reevaluate things every couple months, even though I haven’t made any major mistakes or setbacks, I guess I just haven’t found exactly the right puzzle pieces to get everything together.

@lookingforadvice77: Yeah, I think I experienced that in my mid-twenties. I traveled a lot and spent a lot of time alone thinking about things during that time.
