    @Dr_dazzle:  That could be implantation bleeding.  I would take a test for peace of mind.  Unfortunately, pregnancy symptoms and PMS/period symptoms are really similar.

    I voted she should take a test to be sure.

    Tangential question: does color/consistency of AF really have any significance? I just ask because I’ve had everything from bright red to brown and everything in between, and never thought anything of it.

    @ChemistryBride:  often when you’re pregnant, you’ll get brownish, ligth spotting, which some women can mistake for a period, and then not realize they are pregnant.

    this woman should definitely take a home test to be sure!
