- Wedding: August 2012
Everyone in my close circle knows that I am a fan of the sauce. I have wine tastings at my house as a yearly event and I frequent vineyards to stay up on the new trends in vino. Our wedding is (you guessed it!) at a vineyard.
For our small party we get three cases of wine, which should be more than enough for everyone to get their fill before they pile into the limos taking us all back to the hotel. However, should people want to partake in other alcoholic beverages, it would cost us extra. I’m all for providing spirits open bar, but my fiance feels that if people are at a vineyard they should drink wine. We compromised on four wines – two for wine lovers and two for beginners – that should make everyone happy.
With that said, should we still spring for the open bar or just offer wine and a cash bar if people want something other than vino?
Thanks for your opinions in advance.
