It’s always on a Thursday, yes, the last Thursday of November.  I have today and tomorrow off because I asked off but from the people I know that work in traditional office settings, they have both days off.  And all schools that I’ve seen give the kids Wednesday-Friday off.

Mostly people get both days off. I am a nurse, though, so I am at work for a whole shift (12 hours) today. It sucks that I can’t be home, but patients can’t just make themselves be better for my leisure time. Unfortunately.

It really depends on where you work and what your employer allows.  My Fiance doesn’t get tomorrow off, but I do.

Thanksgiving is always on a Thursday.  If you work in retail then odds are REALLY good that you’ll be working on Friday.  MOST places (except things like police, emergency personnel, etc) have Thursday off though.  Friday is considered “Black Friday” for retail and is THE biggest shopping day of the year.

If you are lucky enough to NOT have to get up at 3 in the morning to work Black Friday then yes, you get both days off.
