We are getting married in my fiancés hometown, but it is destination for us. Because of this, we think it will be a “card heavy” event. Do you think this is big enough for a card box for a 100 person wedding? We need to decide in the next week if we are going to order it in time! (Click the link below, it wont let me save the image…)

No, I don’t think it’ll be big enough. I’s only 10 inches high and 6 wide. Most wedding cards are bigger than 5×7 so I they’d all be standing up when you put them in there. And then it’d fill up pretty quickly!! Is your theme a winery? Maybe you could just DIY a box with the lid made out of corks??

It says it is 6.5 x 10 inches so…that seems pretty small for cards?

You could also put a Bridesmaid or Best Man in charge of checking on the card box throughout the evening and emptying it out. (I was always told that that was a good idea anyway in case of theft, under the hope for the best, plan for the worst theory.)

my Maid/Matron of Honor surprised me with a card box, which was put to good use at both the wedding, bridal shower, and is great home decor now!! She knew that I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a store bought card box that I will never use again (and I recently went to a friends’ wedding and her store bought card box did not fit many cards OR the larger envelopes!! Anyway, my Maid/Matron of Honor knew I was picky and found this. I HAD to share it because it came out amazing!!!
