EWCM is a really good indication of fertility. If you’re having regular cycles and having a period though, you’re most certainly ovulating.

Some women don’t produce as much EWCM as others. Charting will help you pinpoint if you’re ovulating.

Good luck!

@Monny: Hi, well its great that you are regular. CM can vary from woman to woman, so I wouldn’t worry too much. There’s a product called Pre-seed which can help with lubrication & providing a sperm-friendly environment. Did your temping show that you ovulated? You could also use OPKs to double check O alongside your temps.

Good luck TTCing!

Oh ps, I think some bees have had good luck using Royal Jelly supplements to increase EWCM – is that right bees?

@Mrsluckywife:  Yes, RJ has been WONDERFUL for CM.

Highly recommend;)

Some say they get more CM when they drink green tea before ovulation as well. I think it works too, but not as much as RJ. In combination it works really well.

I am having the same problem. I am doing the Creighton Model of Natural Family Planning which exclusively uses cervical mucus to monitor fertility. I have only been off of birth control pills for three months and it’s taking my system awhile to get back into the swing of making mucus since that is one of the things the pill does is dry up your mucus, but I am having regular cycles so I know I’m ovulating. I just went to see a Creighton specialist who is a Licensced PA. He presribed me Vitamin B6 at 500mg a day, and it must be sustained release type, and Guiafenesin (mucinex is name brand) 600 mg which I have to take 4 days pre-O through 2 days post-O. But please keep in mind that was prescribed by a PA and I wouldn’t encourage anyone to take these without seeing a licensced professional first. Also I am only on CD 3 so I don’t know if it’s worked, will keep you posted!
