Mine doesn’t, but we do have to spend a bit more because he needs magnums. I just have always gone with Trojan because I have had the best track record with them. Do you meant he brand or the material? Some people are allergic to latex and maybe that has something to do with his preference.

Condoms are to men like tampons are to women— some women are perfectly okay with whatever brand is on sale, but many women are ferociously brand-loyal and will not ever use a tampon that is not their brand.  If your fella has a brand preference then I wouldn’t try to change that just to save a few dollars; after all, it’s going to be put on his penis, and most men are pretty particular about their penises!

@linssi:  Expensive, but not as expensive as 18 + years of raising a baby! 🙂

Yes, Fiance definitely has a preference.  He says that some feel entirely different, and there have been some that ruined the mood, so to speak… so we never bought those again.  I’m happy to spend a little more so that he can enjoy everything as much as I do  =o)

We bought whatever was cheapest when we used them.

We’ve always used trojans because they’re reliable– lifestyles are cheaper, but they also have a higher breakage rate.  We look at condoms like dental work and parachutes…

It’s not always a good thing to find the cheapest deal.

Just out of curiosity– why do you bother using them for “other” activities but not for sex?

NOT Trojans. Anything else. Trojans have this horrible chemical smell to them, to me. And the chemicals in them irritate my SO. I forget what brand we have but they’re those “barely there” types. Yeah, there’s a chance they can break but at this point we rarely use them anyways and SO has baby fever so a broken condom would be far from the end of the world at the moment.

If your worried about cost, many health departments and all planned parenthoods give them out for free daily and many times they are trojan. Also, college campuses do.
