Ok, I hope I don’t sound like a complete ditz asking this.. but what exactly are cufflinks for? I know they go on the cuff of the suit/tux jacket.. Do they come with the rented suit/tux.. I wanted to get my Fiance a pair of his favorite sports team.. but not sure if he’ll be able to use them on a rented tux.

Don’t worry, it’s not a stupid question considering most shirts men wear don’t have the holes for cufflinks!
Cufflinks are just that; little pieces of metal to hold your shirt sleeve cuffs together. Nowadays there is a button and a hole on the cuffs. Some shirts (french cuff shirts and tuxedo shirts) have two holes instead of a button and a hole. You hold the cuffs together, slide the cufflink through the two holes, and twist the toggle on the cufflink so it holds the cuffs together.
Typically a rented tux comes with cufflinks, but you would certainly be able to use a pair that you buy. Just keep in mind that unless he has a french cuff shirt, he may not be able to wear them again. 🙂
Hope this helped!

It did help.. thank you! He most certainly does not have a shirt he could wear them with ever again.. lol But I still think they would be a nice little surprise for that day, he would love it! And I think our guests (who see them & notice them) would get a kick out of them! He would display them in his man cave I’m sure, along with all his other sports junk.

PP was completely right 🙂
I love a man wearing cuff links. It makes them super sexy. Weird I know.

I found them on eBay for $14, free shipping.. score! I think he’ll love them, once I explain to him what they are lol He’s not the fancy type, not sure if he’ll know what they are. I asked one of his groomsman if it was weird for me to get them for him, he said No Way, he’ll love anything (Cleveland) Browns related.
