I’m hoping someone on here may be able to shed some light. I’m getting confused reading things online.
I have been using digital ovulation kits which have been great and tracking them with my discharge consistency. when I get a smiley face on my digital ovulation test my discharge is stretchy but then it dries up the next day. Does that mean I have already ovulated as soon as that smiley face appears?
I thought once you get a smiley face on an ovulation test the actual ovulation will happen 12-24 hours later, but isn’t discharge supposed to be stretchy when an egg has been released? And start to dry up afterwards?
hope that all makes sense haha

Sounds to me like you’re getting the smiley face towards the end of your ovulation window.

Your stretchy cervical mucus is the most fertile, it doesn’t always line up with ovulation day but you should do the deed when it’s present while you’re in your fertile window as sperm can love inside for up to 5 days.

I was always a little confused about exactly when O happened in terms of EWCM drying up too! I also used the CB advanced digital ovulation tests I usually got my solid smiley VERY close to O- like within 12-24, and definitely not 48 and my EWCM dried up within hours of the egg dropping. We also usually DTD the day after my cm was gone just to be totally sure.
