@Rockinrobin5775:  I think asking her to have it made is a good suggestion. That way it gives the mom the choice to go through the extra effort (since she didn’t order early enough) and hopefully takes the pressure off you.

I think you are heading into Bridezilla territory.

Sorry, but the first lesson any bride has to learn is if you want it done properly you do it yourself.

You should have bought the dresses and had the moms pay you back.

The possibility of the dress being discontinued would never have even passed through the busy moms mind, she was busy being a mom, you are the one busy being a bride, you should take care of the important details.

Its your event to plan, time to take responsibility for your own destiny.

@Rockinrobin5775:  Honestly this would probably cost next to nothing to make.  Are is there a fabric shop near you or can you contact a custom dress maker on etsy or someone local to see if they can make the dress for the little girl?

If not have one wear something else.  I would never have the heart to tell a little girl that she couldn’t be in the wedding because of her mom’s mistake.

@Rockinrobin5775:  No one is going to empower a bad decision. We arent tearing you down, we just arent agreeing.

@Rockinrobin5775:  I think they are preventing you from making a bad decision. A bride who would pull out a flower girl for something like this will prob get some flack from the family. The 3-year-olds outfit does NOT matter. Your attitude does.

For the record, this is exactly why I’m buyng the fg dresses.
