Do you know how many days past ovulation you are? When is aunt flow supposed to come? If you’re around 6-12 days post ovulation, it could be implantation bleeding.

mbgal:  Then it could be! I had it where I had just a very light streak of brown. However, I also have had spotting like that 3-4 days before AF. SO I say it could be implantation or you’re just having a wonky cycle. Only time will tell…isn’t it hard waiting?! 😛 Good luck!! Keep us updated.

mbgal:  I had what I believe to be IB on 6pdo, I had cramps the day before and I spotted for about half a day.  It was light brown and came with some CM.  In my case I know it wasn’t my period starting because I’m also charting and the next day my temp went sky high meaning I started producing progesterone like crazy.  Does that mean I’m pregnant, while I sure hope so but nothing is guarenteed until the BFP.  I’m only 8dpo so time will tell.  I will tell you I’m still having some cramps.  For me it’s more like a full feeling and more like a nusence.

I had it approx 9DPO.  I wasn’t charting so not 100% on my ovulation date but that is just based on a much later ultrasound conception date and I know what day the bleeding started.  Mine was like a light period and was both bright red blood and brown blood (just like your period would be) and cramps (they were indistinguishable from menstrual cramps FWIW).

With my first I had implantation bleeding at 10DPO that sounds similar. Sounds promising!

It could be. It’s a bit early for pregnancy symptoms-most women dont’ experience vomiting, bloating, fatigue, etc. until a few weeks into their pregnancy, but everyone’s different and some certainly have.

Generally speaking the defining feature of implamantation bleeding is that it’s sparse–ie, one-time-only, and light. But the only way to know for sure is to take a pregnancy test in a few days. Good luck; fingers crossed for you!
