I’m having a bit of an issue with my bridesmaid/estetician who was supposed to do everyone’s makeup. Long story short, I want to know what kind of options I have about having someone come do my make up. I’m having my wedding in the town where I was raised, and I now live in a different state, so everything has to be done by phone/email.
There are no “private” poeple in the small town or surrounding towns, that will come to me to do my make up. What other options should I look into?
Just need some ideas …. thanks!!!

What about having a friend/family member go to the mall near you and check out the makeup counter. A lot of the people there do makeup on the side. My sisters had Lancome come to the house.

Having a friend/family member look at makeup counters is a great idea! However keep in mind that not all makeup artists at counters are trained makeup artists, their main job and goal is to sell and sometimes they are hired more on their ability to push a product rather than how well they can apply makeup..
If you do happen to go back to the town you’ll be having your wedding in between now and September, try to schedule a trial or two with any potential makeup artists. If this is not possible, ask to see the artist’s portfolio. He or she should either have a website or at least be able to email you some photos of previous work (: Good luck!
