Oh I get what you’re saying. You can probably have lace added to disguise the comb. How are you going to get it to stay on without a comb?

Edward Berger makes one, that’s what I wore for my wedding. The comb is attached to the lace on top.

Are you opposed to buying one online?  I just bought from this etsy seller and love my veil.  It is a mantilla, elbow length.  The lace does cover the comb.  It appears that the lace is just fastened to the comb itself.

I had difficulty finding mantillas in bridal stores as well.  The one’s that I did find were way over priced.

you can attach a comb to the top or you can secure it with bobby pins

@Angela83 – I bought my mantilla veil from marisolaparicio, the same etsy seller that you attached the link from. She is fantastic! She charges about a quarter of what the stores were charging me for a similar veil. Here a couple pics of me.
