Are Maid/Matron of Honor dresses supposed to be different from the rest of the bridal party? What about a Matron of Honor. Just FYI: I have a Matron of Honor, a Maid of Honor, Two Bridesmen, and a jr. bridesmaid.
Sorry I’m just one of the first in my super close friends to get married and I have the largest wedding party of the ones who are married.

I think you can do whatever you want. I’ve seen people do all the same dresses, all different, or different for just the Maid/Matron of Honor.
So I think it’s up to you! You also have other options, like they could wear their own special jewelry, etc.

I chose not to dress my Maid/Matron of Honor any differently. There isn’t a right or wrong option here…it’s what YOU want. People will know who your Maid/Matron of Honor is just because she walks down the aisle right before you and stands next to you (holding your bouquet) through out the ceremony. 🙂 Since you technically have two…you could make them stand out more by changing up their bouquets or as the previous poster suggested, you could have them wear different jewelry. One other suggestion…I’ve seen some weddings where the MOH’s have their hair styled different (as in, up-do’s while the rest of the bridesmaids wear their hair down).
