I have the same thing. My last appointment my doctor asked if I felt anything and I told her sometimes I think I do, but it’s not very consistent. She told me that this early it won’t be since the movement is so small. She said it’s very common right now to feel something one day and then nothing for several more. I’m not sure at what point, though, they will get stronger. I’ll just have to wait and see Laughing

I’m at 18 weeks too, and am experiencing the same thing. I just saw my doctor this morning and she explained the same thing that @Tisty1982: just said… Nothing to worry about, the feeling will intensify in the next weeks and will become more constant. But for now, once every few days is completely normal!

I wish I had known that before my vacation. I started feeling movement just before I left for vacation abroad, and then at the beginning of my vacation and then it stopped. I tried to tell myself not to worry, but I couldn’t help it so even if I had a good trip, I was anxious to come back and make sure that all was good. Fortunately, I started feeling him again during the plane ride home!

I think I started feeling “bubbles” at about 18 weeks but didn’t feel noticebale movement until 20 weeks.  It’s totally normal to not feel movement every day at 18 weeks.   Baby is still pretty little and he’s got to punch you pretty hard for you to feel it!

Keep in mind if you have an anterior placenta, that will cause you to feel less movement, as well.
