Where are you located? I’m in Vancouver and have never heard of them… googled the address (located in their shopping/returns policy) and it looks like maybe they are drop shippers? They don’t appear to have a store front. They have a US postal address in Blaine as well. From their website I see they sell Harro and Charles & Colvard stones.

j3n12345 :  Not 100% sure but I think they are the same company that makes Harro.

I understand being nervous buying jewelry online.. when I initially saw your post, and my hometown in the title, I did a bit of searching – I’m familiar with this area, and don’t recall ever seeing mymoissanite as a storefront.  Using google maps, the Vancouver address appears to be a Fedex location (pic below) … not necessarily a big deal, it seems they are an online business only.

The other thing I found a bit weird is that the majority of their very postitive google reviews seems to be posted 3-5 months ago, using very formulaic language.

I admit being very skeptical & thoroughly researching businesses before handing over my hard earned money.. it would be great to get confirmation from a Bee who actually bought here.

I’m in the U.S.A.   I’ve been on what used to be BetterThanDiamond.com’s board, now  called Talk.Jewelry or something.   The cut of the Charles & Colvard Moissanites varies widely, so what you want to do is find a vendor who will look at the stones and send you only a top-cut one.   In USA, I would recommend the August Vintage line and Jon.  I bought diamonds from him when he was still with GoodOldGold.com, his family;s business.

Joseph Schubach Jewelers http://shopping.schubachstore.com   and MoissaniteCompany.com are two others I’d recommend at least getting  a great stone from.   BetterThanDiamond’s Amora Gem, too.   A simple ring can be assembled by almost any jeweler using stock findings , like from Stuller.com.

But don’t skimp on the cut quality or the color.   People in Pacific NW USA hated their old darker / greenish Moissanites because the cloudy days just emphasized the murky tints.   Today’s  top quality branded moissaniate is a lot whiter, but cut still varies and stones have to be cherry-picked to get the best and prettiest.

eta:  I have no affiliation with any of those companies, or any jewelry business whatsoever.   But there is a lot of Chinese and Indian moissanite entering the marketplace nowadays, because the patents have expired, and some of it’s decent and some isn’t.  So don’t buy a drop-shipped moissanite from any unknowns.  Stick with the bigger names who’ve been in business a while.

I’ve also never heard of them, and I recently did a lot of looking into Canadian stores to order a moissanite from. If you really want a Harro, try Ring Come True out of Toronto, the prices aren’t crazy (and will be better for you with the exchange rate (I cry)) , the styles are lovely and I believe she works with NEO and Harro.

If you wanted to try to cut costs, you could try a moissanite from Starsgems / Starsgem8 or whatever their name is, then have a local jeweler make the setting for you.   One of the reason I joined this board was to get information on China and India vendors.
