This may appear as a crazy question to some but I was raised that no question is a dumb question. I am happy to say that I have addressed my invitations and I am ready to mail them out… however I am unsure about the response cards. Am I supposed to fill in the person’s name on the card or is the recipient supposed to do it? What if they forget to do it? What have you all done? Help!

I’ve seen it where the bride went ahead and put the name on them, printed or written nicely.. for the just in case..
I’ve also heard of “black light” pens or something like that…where you write their names somewhere on the card.. they can’t see it but if they do forget to write the name in you can see it under blk light
I just left the spots blank.. luckily I didn’t have any “unknown” rsvp’s =)

I don’t know if there’s a proper way, but I’m just putting a number in the corner to play MATCH with the cards when they return if I need to. It’s too much trouble to put their names, plus this way, you getto see how they prefer to be addressed, and the names of their unknown plus ones (if you’ve included them)

The black light pens are nice! I sealed my invites before I could get to use one!
We just put “names of attendees” and a few lines below them. If ppl forget, then oh well. haha

I plan to number them, lightly with a pencil.
