So I recently bought these shoes, and I really want to wear them with a teal shift dress to a Christmas party tomorrow.
My question is, can I wear black tights with these? I’m worried about being cold. I’ve always been that person that’s horrified by seeing people wear tights/hose with sandals, but these have a really small peep toe that my toes are barely visible out of. I’ve been seeing more and more people wearing tights with small peep toes lately, so I’m wondering if this is something that’s considered ok now?
I don’t know if I should go with my gut and suck it up and just have bare legs. Can I get away with tights with these or will people think I look stupid? Or should I just wear the tights and wear a closed toe black pump instead?
Ugh. Opinions, ladies?

I personally hate the look of tights-covered toes. I don’t know if this is equally awful, but could you do footless tights (as long as they’re extra long and cover your ankles so you wouldn’t have a gap of skin showing at the ankle?) Then at least the toes will be bare but you’ll be warm.
HOWEVER- for me, staying warm trumps all fashion! So if wearing tights is going to make you more comfortable, just look away from the toes and hope everyone else does too:)

Yes. Wear tights. You live in Canada. You do not go out with bare legs in Canada in December. People will judge you.
Plus, people in much warmer climates wear tights with those shoes all of the time. You’ll look cute.

Thanks 🙂 I tried them on with the tights and it’s actually not even that obvious the shoes are open toed since the black tights look identical. I think I’m just gonna wear it.
Thanks ladies 🙂

A sheer pair of tights might do the trick without looking tacky. Amercain Apparel has awesome tights !
