I think it’ll look absolutely fine. If you can afford the $800 and want to then do it, but I don’t think you need to if the money would be better saved or spent elsewhere 🙂

I say save your money,  or put it where it can be better spent.   800 is a lot to spend on table cloths.   And I think the combo with look great with your centerpieces.

mrsrekraps22:  I think the satin runners will look fine on the polyester tablecloths.

Having said that, if you have your heart set on satin tablecloths , you can buy them for $14, then sell them after the weding and recoup some of that cost.

You will have to iron them before the wedding, then launder them after, so you are trading your labor for the cost savings.

i actually like the poly tablecloth better. satin tableclothes just always look so cheap to me (even though they’re a fortune), plus the slippery surface just doesn’t seem work work well with food items. i vote save your money, and just do the runner. it will look fine.

$800 for table cloths that literally NO ONE will notice? No way! Save that $$.

I actually like the texture difference with the cloth & runner. Again, people probably won’t notice, but I think it looks really nice!

mrsrekraps22:  To be honest with you I never pay attention to the table cloth at any wedding/party I go to, and I feel that most people won’t pay any attention either, save yourself the $ and spend it on other upgrades that will be more of a wow factor at your wedding.

I used satin runners on polyester table clothes for my daughters Quincenera and honestly think it worked great…the satin runner seems to “pop” more on the polyester than it would on the satin tablecloth.

mrsrekraps22:  Then for sure, I wouldn’t waste the money on satin tableclothscloths. I too, prefer the look of a satin runner over a polyester cloth.

Satin cloths show condensation rings like no other! Save your $$ and use the poly cloths. The texture difference is fine.

I’m paying about the same for mine, but I’m buying them outright.

I actuakky prefer the cheaper option in your photos, or the cheaper option + runner. The upgraded tablecloth looks a bit I know to me.

We’re mixing textures too–I think you’ll be fine! I like the contrast of the runner actually 🙂

I prefer the polyester/cloth tablecloths over the satin, but maybe that’s because it’s what we used! Lol. I feel like runners on round table make the tables seem smaller, but maybe it’s just in my head 🙂
