I think it will look ok even you will have a veil with lace especially when you have your own theme. Like vintage themed wedding but anyaways, I think it’s cute. Just an idea.

My seamstress said it will be very easy and inexpensive to make a veil…and she is going to find a lace trim that matches my ivory lace dress.

@desiree.0615:  In this situation, I ask myself: What Would Kate Middleton Do?  (I’m such a nerd, I love her!!)  Her dress was SO lacy, and she opted for a veil edged in lace.  I’m sure you remember how gorgeous she looked–not too over-the-top at all!

I really love the lacy, romantic, vintage look and would definitely go with a lace trimmed veil. I probably wouldn’t go with a super lacy veil unless it really compliments your dress, but a couple of inches of lace trim that coordinates with the lace on your dress would look really beautiful.

I did a quick search and here are a couple of photos that I found:

No. Lace is the most suitable for a bridal. Love lace.

Would you consider this, a simple sheer veil with pretty lace and pearls patterns to compliment your beautiful dress without taking the focus away from the dress.

You could go for the sheer fingertip length (as the first two photos) for a more relaxed garden/beach recemony and reception or lace edge, catheral length veils (last photos) for a more formal church ceremony.

I love both so I had both for my wedding! ๐Ÿ™‚

@Coffeedate OMG I am stealing that motto!  I love lace (and Kate)!
