I have a triple split shank ring (3 pave bands) and am having the hardest time finding a wedding band. It is going to cost a fortune to have one made to fit the shape of my ring, so I was just thinking about getting a simple pave band. There would be a gap in between the rings though due to the shape of my e-ring.
Would it look weird if I got my pave wedding band in moissante? Would you be able to tell the difference between the diamonds in the bands of my pave e ring and the moissanites in my pave wedding band?
have any of you ever done this? I would love to get the moissanite band just to save the money. But if they will look too different, even in the little diamonds, then I will probably have to go with the more expensive option,
here is a pic of the ring just for reference.

moissanite is much more reflective than diamond. i think the difference would be pretty obvious if they were next to each other.

@kitzy: good to know. i don’t even know if i have seen a moissante next to a diamond. i hadn’t even heard about them til I got on the bee.

If you go to the websites that sell moissanite, there is often a moissanite center stone with diamond side stones. if you have nice sparkly diamonds in your ring, it probably won’t be super duper obvious, but i have no clue honestly.
your e-ring is kind of wide as it is–are you sure a pave band would even be comfortable? it may make it all too thick in general–in which case, get a wider pave band and wear it solo whenever you feel like it. i love those pave tiffany style bands though.

i sort of like the wider look, but i haven’t tried any bands on yet. it may look too wide.
