I did not. I know there’s talk online that spotting is a sign of pregnancy but I honestly have never met anyone in real life that had this symptom during early pregnancy. Our midwife actually said that spotting early on was reason to call the doctor as it might indicate abnormal hormone levels (emphasis on “might”). I’m sorry, fingers crossed I hope it’s different for you.

oliviakatherine:  Honestly, I wouldn’t wait until morning.  I tested 10 DPO at 2:30 in the afternoon and the test came out positive.  If you’re 13 DPO there’s usually (though not always) enough of the pregnancy hormones to make a positive test.

Like atlbride2013 said, I have heard that spotting is a sign of pregnancy but I did not experience that. Your other symptoms, however, sound familiar.  I remember slight nausea verrrry early on, which went away.  And during my first trimester I felt exhausted all the time.  Can’t speak to the moodiness though (maybe my Darling Husband can, lol).

Anyway, I would go buy a test.  Let us know!

Everybody’s different. I never had any spotting and didn’t have any real symptoms until after my missed period, and then it was just sore boobs and being constantly thirsty. But you could be totally different.

At this point, you’re pregnant or not, so there’s not much to do about it. Just wait and POAS. And try not to stress! And good luck!

sometimes the cervix is sitting lower in the vaginal canal causing intercourse to be painful and some spotting to occur because of the penis hitting the cervix with intercourse. the cervix can drop after ovulation and/or before period. i hope you get your bfp though. good luck.

oliviakatherine:  sorry no spotting for me in my early pregnancy. I think at 13DPO, you should test. Instead of agonizing over symptoms, I think you should put your mind at ease by testing. Regardless of the outcome, it might help you relax and tackle the next phase (pregnancy or another month of TTC). Plus you’re seeing your doc soon, so either way don’t you want to know if you’re pregnant so you can direct your questions for your dr accordingly? I know what it feels like to be scared to test and to see negative results but if you’re pregnant, you’re not doing any good bt stressing.

No spotting here. Though I did get a tiny, barely there, implantation bleeding at 7-9DPO. (I was looking for it so I noticed, otherwise I would have missed it). I have a friend who had early spotting though, so I know its possible. At 13DPO, I would think you’ve already implanted if you’re pregnant.

I had implantation bleeding around 10 DPO. I never spotted before getting my period so I had a good hunch that I was pregnant, and I was! But 13 DPO seems pretty close to AF time, so it could definitely be regular period spotting. Good luck!

When the same thing happened to me (pink after intercourse) I was indeed pregnant! Currently 15 weeks along!

Wishing you a BFP!!!!

oliviakatherine:  I’m a notorius spotter before a period, usually reddish/brown. The cycle we got pregnant I noticed light pink tinged TP after wiping twice. I had IB from 9DPO-14DPO. It was also accompanied by small amounts of tanish brown CM. I hope your pink means what mine did. Good luck testing! Be sure to update us in the morning! 😀
