Hi bees! OK, so it is probably going to rain on my wedding day.
I know our ceremony and reception are indoors, but I think it’s annoying we’ll have to walk on slippery marble steps (at the church), the driving will be stalled and there will be traffic, it’ll be annoying for the guests, etc…
What were your experiences with rain on your wedding day?

I was in my friend’s wedding the weekend after Thankgiving, and it rained. It stopped for a few minutes so we could take pictures outside, which was awesome! It wasn’t so bad though — we were all just so excited because she was getting married, nobody even thought about the rain. Your happiness will outshine the clouds! (Sorry, that was really corny.)
I do have one tip though: one of the groomsmen was our designated “umbrella holder.” Whenever we were outside (going from the bus to the church, etc.) he held an umbrella and walked back and forth with each girl. It was really nice of him, and nobody’s hair or makeup got messed up. Also, you might want to bring some of that John Frieda Smooth Finish hair creme — that stuff totally kills any frizzies that might result from humidity!

@likelimeade: Thanks 🙂
My hair will be up and in a side chignon bun. So that helps, right? My stylist is actually one of my best friends and will be at the wedding, so that’s lucky!
We don’t have a bridal party, just Maid/Matron of Honor and Bridesmaid or Best Man, and we planned on taking our pictures inside the church, not outside…
sigh. im so annoyed.
