So… I’m completely in love with all these photos I’m seeing of SF Courthouse weddings! Its exactly the type of beautiful space I was looking for. And (bonus!) it’s a courthouse so it doesn’t get any easier than that.
My question is…
How are you all getting these beautiful grand pictures with no one else in the photo besides the two of you? I would think a courthouse would be fairly busy throughout the day? We want to get married on a Thursday… What would be the best time to hold our ceremony to avoid crowds?
Also, any recommendations on AMAZING photographers in the area would be greatly appreciated. We want someone local who takes breathtakingly beautiful photos.
Thanks Bees! 🙂

@MrsCatLady: Check out Anna Wu – she does AMAZING work! I don’t know her personally, nor did I use her for my wedding, but I’ve been swooning over her photos for quite some time!

@MrsCatLady: IQ photography has a whole “how to get married at city hall” page that is really helpful. I’m planning on either booking them or Lilia Photography for my city hall wedding.

Sorry, totally forgot to mention my own photographer, Vivian Chen (vivianchen.com) She does weekday SF city hall for $750 with two hours of coverage.
Here is the album of one of her City Hall weddings:
