I’m not sure if this is the right area for this, but I have a question. My doc wrote me a prescription for progesterone suppositories and they had to be picked up from a private pharmacy, not Walgreens, Rite Aid, or any of those that instantly come to mind. Upon picking it up this morning, they didn’t take insurance to lessen the cost (which I didn’t mind), but gave me a universal claim form for a compounded medicine. I didn’t mind paying for it because I needed it, but what is this form for? Am I supposed to send this to my insurance to try to be reimbursed? I’m just a little confused as to why I was given this form and I hope someone with advice could help me out.
