I am sitting here trying to order save the dates, and decided to go the vistaprint way, since I designed our own, and just needed a printing service. I have chosen the 5.5×4 (postcard sized), selected glossy, and am going to attach magnet strips to the back when I get them.
However, on the site, I have created the above both in “postcard” form, and “flat invitation”, (I wanted to see what the price difference between the two products was, since they are both the same size). Well, after the 50% off promo code, it’s either $19 for 100 postcards, or $29 for 70 of the invitation format. That doesn’t make sense to me.
So I was hoping someone who has ordered from here could explain to me the difference. I want to make sure I order the right thing. 🙂

I think the prices are different for the different products, and the products geared more toward personal and family use (as opposed to business use) tend to be more expensive in smaller quantities. I ordered the postcards and they are great!
Definitely google “100 free postcards vistaprint” before buying anything!! You can find links to better promo codes. You will only have to pay for shipping. If you need more than 100, place 2 orders. It is worth it! We paid about $13 (just shipping) for two batches of 100 postcards.

I used Snapfish for ours, postcard size, and bought postacard stick on backings and sent them off. They turned out really nice!
I have gotten glossy business cards and also matte (the black card was washed out, so I reordered in glossy) and they turned our really nice from Vistaprint. I agree to look for coupon codes! I get coupons emailed all the time since I buy business cards from them

I got Post Card Size Magnets from VistaPrint! They were the XL Magnet, came out to be around 3×5 or 4×6! I Loved Mine! =)
Also sign up for email offers, or watch your junk mail, so many FREEBIE offers come through! =)

I agree with MaraBeth about doing the 100 free post cards. I did that for our STD and ordered envelopes to go with them and only paid about 12.00. They come out pretty nice, so I have been using that for any type of invite I need for other parties we have going on this summer.

Scroll down where it says “Everything Free” and Click. It will take you to Vistaprint and you can get 100 Postcards free…I did this for my informal invites.
I got both informal and formal invites and they both turned out beautifully! The Flat invites are pretty big and not really meant for STD’s so if I were you, I’d go with the postcards 🙂

Thanks for all your help!
I looked into the large photo magnets as @CupCakeMeg mentioned, and then also ordered the envelopes with our name and address printed on the back flap. Most of the stuff on the site was 50% off today, and then because my order was $55, I got free shipping. Definitely A LOT better than any other save the dates I had seen that would have cost me $150+. Plus now I dont have to spend money on supplies like magnet strips, and glue dots, etc. I am definitely pleased!
I can’t wait for them to come in!

I ordered my invitations and only after I paid $100+ for them, I found out that had I ordered “oversized postcards” it would have been the same size, and I am often send “free” oversized postcards offers.
I used “postcards” as my RSVPs and paid the $5 for the envelopes (in Canada, it’s no cheaper to send a postcard than a stamped envelope).
I learned that 50% off is nothing, they often have 80% and 100% off. I got 50% off my STD magnets thinking it was a deal and then the next week they offer them 80% off.
