Did you feel guilty doing so? What mde you upgrade you ring? Did you get a completely different ring or just a new setting? I am torn on whether or not I want to upgrade as I think I would feel really guilty about it.

@Tswife4ever: I “upgraded” a few years after we were married because I was given a family diamond that wasn’t available before. I tried having it put in my original e-ring setting but the diamond itself was too big for the setting. I got a new setting for it, so then I had 2 rings. I usually wore the bigger diamond and since I was never crazy about my original e-ring setting (didn’t pick it out), I had that diamond reset into a pendant.
Did I feel guilty? Not really. I did this about 5 years after we were married, so if I had done it sonner, maybe I would have felt some pangs of guilt.
What do you want to change about your set?

@country chic: I love my ring but at the time, it was what we could afford. We had a very small budget so I was only able to look at rings that were under that small budget. Now that we’ve been married almost two years, Darling Husband has brought up if I want to upgrade my ring to my dream ring now that money is not really an issue. I am torn on whether I want to or not… I think I may feel guilty about it. At the same time, I really would love to have my dream ring..
