I am planning on wearing these flats for at least the reception part of my wedding:My problem: I don’t want to go barefoot in them because my feet sweat a lot (sorry, gross I know). But I def don’t want to have blisters or nasty feet that day.
I don’t want to wear hoisery because the shoes are quite roomy and I feel like sheer hose would just make them flop off more easily. (same goes for those “peds” things).
I thought about possibly wearing some type of “fancy” sock like these:
So would the socks look totally dorky and stupid?
Any opinions or suggestions would be welcomed! Thanks!

Honestly, i’d wear shoes that fit. I think I had socks that looked like that circa 1989…

How long is your dress? My dress is floor length with a chapel train and even bustled, the shoes won’t show. I bought some isotoners for the reception. I doubt anyone is going to notice.

I would totally skip those socks and get the no-show socks mentioned by SparkleBee.

How about putting some deodorant powder in the shoes to control the sweat, and then skipping the socks?

I think knee-high socks might look a lot cuter, if it’s not too hot where you live

My shoes DO fit. But all of my shoes have to be roomy because I have an abnormally grown bone on the side of my foot. I’m just saying that if I wear hoisery, the shoes will flop off.
My dress is floor length, so it’s unlikely that anyone will see my shoes/socks.
Thanks SparkleBee for the suggestion! I think I may buy those!
