Did you/Do you have less people come to the wedding than you originally thought? We invited 162 people and really thought we would have around 125. Well we are getting RSVP’s back (They were due March 15th!) and only 71 people have RSVP’d yes and about 25 that replied no. I think we might just have around 100 people tops. Good side of that is now we get to have a dessert bar! Bad news- friends I really thought would be there aren’t coming. 🙁

I’m a Friday bride, but haven’t sent my invites out yet. I assume there will be less than we thought just because of people being unable to take off work to get there early enough or being from out of town. We’ll see though. 🙂
Sorry I couldn’t be more help!

We haven’t sent our invites yet, so I can’t help you out yet! But I think we will see fewer yes RSVPs too, especially from Out of Town guests because they would have to take a day off of work.

We were thinking that more people would RSVP no, but we’ve had a surprising number of yes’s! Our venue requires a minimum of 130, and we invited maybe 140, and so far only 2 have RSVP’d no in the mail, though 4 people have told FI’s mom they aren’t coming (all Out of Town guests that we invited more out of obligation than actually being close to them).
I’m actually hoping for some no’s for our Thursday night rehearsal dinner.

My brother got married on a Friday at 4:00 (same thing I’m doing), and they were amazed at the amount of YES’s they got. I think like 95% of their guests came. So I definitely am not planning on the usual 30% no rsvp rule. I’m only inviting people I can fit in my church and afford to feed!

I think that can happen with any wedding. We expected around 110 and had 75. It was great actually 🙂

We invited 50 people to the wedding (but we knew that about 15 of them would not be likely to attend) and we ended up with 37. The people that we most wanted to have there were there, the rest that were invited were mostly because it was family and the whole yada yada about inviting one means ya gotta invite the rest.
