Don’t most caterers have the capability to make the food in their own kitchen, and just bring it with little heating candles (already cooked) just to keep it warm? Well, you’re going to need one who can do that!

Our caterer brought all the supplies he needed to keep things heated, and to arrange things. He set up a curtain in one nook of the barn, and did everything behind that. Did your venue come with recommended caterers? I would see if you could find a caterer who’s done a wedding at your venue so that you can be sure they have an idea what to do. I’m sure most caterers have a plan for serving at venues without kitchens, though.

We’re having a pizza truck, the trucks have wood fired ovens so they’re using those to cook on site!

We had ours in a barn and the caterer brought their own kitchen more or less. Caterers will have their own stuff to cook food/keep things warm.

I’m not, but a friend of mine had her wedding literally in the middle of nowhere in a tent in some field, the caterer had to come from an hour away and they had a uhaul type truck with all the food and warming stuff in it. Maybe look for caterers who have something like that?
