You blogs obviously started before the bee as it’s a requirement – did you go back and change your posts or do they appear exactly as they did on your original blog? I’ve noticed that a lot of the bee bloggers use cute nicknames for their maids and write posts that reference their Bee names – just wondering if it’s a conicindence or if you changed things after.

I’ve always thought that they create completely new posts for Weddingbee. They only require a couple weeks worth of postings on the personal blog. I feel like every once in a while a post might be pretty much the same as on the blog, but most of the time the personal blog posts are in the past and Weddingbee bloggers try to keep their posts up to date with what they are actually doing now.

@dancindavinci: Good point! I always assumed that they took their old posts and included them. Maybe it’s a mix!

I went through and cleaned mine up – changed initials to nicknames, did a slightly more thorough proof-read, etc. I blogged for a long time before starting to blog about the wedding, so I clearly only cleaned up the pertinent posts for them to pull for the WB blog.
Hope that helps! I know some blogger Bees started their blogs specifically to apply here, so I imagine they wrote theirs exactly as they appeared on the front page. I think it just varies 🙂

I was similar to Candy Apple! I just went through and modified some names and updated a few things to reflect any changes that had happened in the meantime — I also had a pretty big backlog of posts.
