Heyhoo ๐Ÿ™‚

In this case I would get a very plain simple band without anything else, since that’s more my style ๐Ÿ˜‰

I’m not engaged yet but my Boyfriend or Best Friend knows my first E-Ring choice is a 0.25 round brilliant solitaire on a plain gold band if he ever gets down to one knee. If he ever gets me this, I would get a plain gold band ^^. Anything bigger than that will get tangled into my clothings >_<

^yup exactly that. small(er) rings + plain bands is nice and carefree.

My engagement ring is around half a carat on a size 4.5, and I paired it with a plain gold wedding band that’s 3mm wide. It’s slightly thicker than my engagement ring band. I think it’s a classic, timeless look! If you want to do diamonds around the band, maybe consider a thin, pave band that won’t compete with your e-ring, especially if the center diamond is under .75 carats.

hssweethearts2013 :  mine’s not round but I have a .7 solitaire paired with a diamond eternity band. I love the plain look too but I haven’t had any issues with maintenance and I think they compliment each other beautifully.

My e-ring is .72 and this will be my wedding stack once married. I am going to solder the bottom band and the e-ring and keep the top band lose for when I need to wear something simple for traveling etc. I like my stack a lot, you can do plenty of fun and versatile styles and stacks with solitaires that other more busy e-rings don’t allow IMO. I just got the bands three days ago and even though I have to wait a year and a half to wear them…I can’t wait! Sorry the pictures are huge..ne

This isn’t my actual wedding band, but my ering is just a simple band. I think my .5 looks great. It’s so simple and classic.

My ering is 0.55 with a tapered band. My wedding band has 0.10 carat diamonds as well. ๐Ÿ™‚

hssweethearts2013 :  Thanks, I love plain gold bands a lot! The diamond is 0.47ct. The ring is actually too big for my fourth finger, so here’s a more accurate photo of the size on my middle finger:

I chose a band with small diamonds with a milgrain design because I love the look of vintage jewelry. My original diamond was a .40 round cut and my current ring is a .54 oval. You can choose anything with a simple solitaire!

.40 centre stone; I think the side stones are about .02 or .03 each and not sure about the ones in my wedding band but they must be tiny. Wedding band is 2mm wide.
