So, background: we did our E-pics on Thursday evening and we should expect photos in two weeks on our photogs website–but my parents are coming to town this weekend (a 14 hr drive for them!) and they are paying for our photography + other wedding stuff.
So my question–is it okay to ask for one photo to be made ready for us to have printed by the end of this week (a week early) to gift as a surprise to my parents?? I know our photographers are super cool but also super busy so I don’t wanna put too much on them with this request–so I’m hoping to kinda feel it out with you guys. Let me know what you think! Am I going to be asking too much??

This was taken last Thursday? Then I am assuming that your photog is in his/her sorting process. Just kindly ask for a special request for one of the favorite photos to be ready for your folks.
If anything, they have already chosen their "teaser" photograph. So don’t be feel awkward, just ask!

I agree- just ask your photographer! I’m sure they’ll be happy to help… I bet if you tell the photographer to just pick his or her favorite and make it into an 11×14 and that you’ll pick it up, it’ll be no problem 🙂 It’s nice that you’re so thoughtful of your photographer’s time!

I’m super busy most of the year – but for one photo? I’d be psyched that my couples wanted to showcase my work 🙂 Go for it!

Sherrlyn of http://www.BorkgrenPhoto.net says. . .I think that is really sweet. If a couple asked me for an extra favor I would feel great about it. You probably got to know your photographer pretty well throughout the day and most likely he/she will be delighted to do something special. I am always trying to find ways to surprise my couples anyway so a request would just make it easier! Go for it!
