I wanted to ask anyone that has done this at their wedding or if you are going to. I’ve wanted to do this since I’ve seen pictures online. I love it. My question is.. Where would you buy them from & when lighting them.. Is it soposed to be a quick thing & then we have to run through it before they burn out?

We’re doing it and have been to many weddings that had them. They burn for a few minutes, depending on the length you get. You can buy them online – just google sparklers, and you’ll see some options.

We are planning on using them and im so excited!! We were gonna buy enough for everyone to have 2, so if they burn out quick we are covered, if not then people have an extra one to play with. We were going to stock up around july 4th.

I want to but I am afraid that I will get burn marks on my dress. Has anyone actually ever done this?

We are doing this! In my area I haven’t seen anyone doing it, but I love the idea.

Love the look of sparklers, but I won’t be using them. I have totally banned them from my house actually.
I used sparklers on my daughters birthday cake (she asked me to) and once they had fizzeled out, I was remving them and she jumped up to help and grabbed one. It made a very nasty burn in a straight line along the back of her fingers and also on her palm due to the way she grabbed it. And it took forever to heal because it kept reopening.
So because of that experience, never again!!

You do have to be careful of the sparks and they do burn at an incredibly hot temperature and can cause serious burns.
You will also need a plan to have a number of people help light them so that they are all let at the same time.

I’m torn on it – I love the look, I love the idea of it – BUT – if I got little sparkler burns in my dress, Im sure I would cry. And I don’t want to cry at my wedding!
