I am purchasing a pair of fancy Luboutins for my wedding and I want to know if it is tacky if I wear them on my rehearsal brunch as well. I’m a normal person who does not own Louboutins so this is a big deal for me! They will look great with both outfits but am I supposed to be saving my wedding shoes for my wedding only?
Do you guys think it’s tacky if I wear them on both occasions!??

not tacky at all. Get your money’s worth 😉

If I were wearing Louboutins I would go for it. Besides since your dress is probably long (you didn’t say so I’m just making the assumption) then most people might not see them at the wedding. Show off those Loubs!

@cobugi: Um, I would do it personally, but would be worried about them getting scuffed or dirty before the wedding. Plus it can be a good way to help break them in before the wedding. Interested in what other people have to say too. The rehearsal will only have part of your wedding guests (I’m guessing) there to see the shoes and so they can still be a “surprise” to many of the other guests…

Go for it, because no one is going be saying OMG did you see that she wore her wedding shoes before the actual wedding. Oh the horrors!

I thought about wearing my wedding shoes for my rehersal/dinner for the simple fact that I need to break them in.. and I can see how they are going to do during the rehersal (since Ill be walking on grass.) If they are not your typical shoe and they were expensive.. enjoy them. Shoes were made to wear.. not to sit in your closet and collect dust!

It may be a good way to break them in. However, if they’re super high or not broken in, it may decrease your tolerance for wearing them all day the next day.
I get blisters from new shoes all the time so I have to be super careful to wear them in or control the amount of time I wear them.

Definitely show off those pretties! There will be so much happening on your wedding day, they rehearsal dinner will be a perfect chance to give them the admiration they deserve.
Do you plan on breaking them in a little beforehand too?

I doubt anyone will notice the shoes at the wedding. But even if they do, like other said, who is really going to care? lol. I’d definitely do it!

I don’t even think anyone would notice and even if they did who cares?! I’m a “normal” person too so I would rock them as often as possible.
