So I’ve been thinking (and another thread prompted me to post this one). We’ve talked about using an enhancer as my wedding band. We haven’t purchased anything yet, but we’ve looked.
I’m leaning more toward an insert… kinda like this one:
The problem is, with this type of band, you obviously have to slip the e-ring off and fit them together before you put the ring back on. So how could this be done seamlessly during the ceremony? Should I just leave the e-ring off until the moment of truth? Or go with a wrap instead? Or what?
This might seem like I really dumb question, but I’m just looking for opinions. 🙂 LOL! Thanks Bees!

Give the bestman the e-ring & wrap to give to your husband to give to you at the same time during the ceremony.

Thanks for your response Mrs. Estep. That probably is the best way to go. 🙂

A lot of people just wear their e-ring on their right hand for the ceremony as well, you could do that if you still want to wear it

I’m getting mine soldered together before the ceremony, so my Fiance will put them on together. The lady at the jewelry store thinks I’m crazy since I won’t be able to wear my e-ring for the couple of days before the wedding, but I don’t care, it’s more important for me to have Fiance be able to easily put them on during the ceremony and then have them already soldered together so I don’t have to keep adjusting them during the Honeymoon.

I have two wedding bands. I wore my ering on my right hand for the ceremony. DH had the two bands that he placed on my finger during the ceremony. After the ceremoney (before pics) I took one band off, put the ering on so it would be in the middle, then put the 2nd band back on. I don’t think anyone noticed and if they did, so what?

I have a solitare enhancer as my wedding ring and I wore my e ring as I normally do and then for the ceremony he slipped my solitare enhancer on top of my ering. I decided that I would be fine with just switching them after the ceremony.
Here is my enhancer… aka wedding ring with my e ring.

My e-ring fits on my wedding band in a specific way as well. So Mr. Hedgie put my wedding band on during the ceremony (my e-ring was on my right hand) and after, I switched them to the right place so they looked right for pictures and when everybody would see them upclose. Nobody will see your hand and the ring until the reception anyway. So don’t worry about having it look perfect right when he puts it on.

Mine was a jacket or insert. I got it sodered together so it is one unit for the wedding day.

Mine is an insert, I had Darling Husband hang onto them together and give them to me as one during the ceremony.

My engagement ring actually had to be stretched down into the insert. So it was too big for me to wear on it’s own anyways. Darling Husband had them both already assembled. You’ll probably want that for pictures anyways. It would be strange in the ceremony pics.

You could just wear the enhancer and then add your e-ring after the ceremony. No one else except for the people right beside you (officiant and husband) will be able to see anyways!

My sister slipped off her ring mid ceremony and was able to hand it to the groom for him to slip the entire thing on her finger. She was very subtle, if I tried that it’d end looking like an excerpt from an Adam Sandler movie. Then again I wanted my ring snug.
