I have a very similar bustle done and the ladies in the shoppe called it a “bell bustle”. I’ll post a pic in a sec.

Here ya go! πŸ™‚ Mine seems to balloon out a bit more just because there’s more fabric in its cut, but I think it is the same overall effect/structure/silhouette.

Looks like a three point french bustle to me.

@pengoala: Thank you! Yes, I’d never heard of a bell bustle before but instantly liked the sound of it. I agree with PP’s reference of the 3-pt. french under-bustle. The bell seems a variation; a little rounder at the edges and the alterations lady upped the poof factor. hehe πŸ™‚

My dress is a Benjamin Roberts/Anjolique dress 2211.

What is yours? I love the fit on you and the detail on the fabric!

@pengoala: HA! That is hilarious! Kindred spirits! πŸ™‚ I haven’t found many of us on here, no dress twins, yet but that’s alright.

@pengoala: Hmm, I feel like I’ve seen your dress posted here before, and I feel silly as though we’ve had this very same conversation before. LOL But no matter, I am glad to meet you and your dress (again?) hehe πŸ™‚ Ah, wedding planning. My head is on overload with information.
