Sometimes our bodies do weird things, so I wouldn’t put it past your body to be pulling a fast one on you. The spotting earlier in the week is interesting. Do you know what DPO you were when that happened? It could’ve been O spotting, or it could’ve been implantation spotting, but it seems a little early for that. I’ve read that implantation spotting is actually uncommon, but you wouldn’t know it by reading accounts on chat boards!

It’s probably just the higher progesterone during your LP causing the PMS symptoms. But the spotting sounds promising!

You would not believe the weird things I have noticed now that I’m TTC!  I am hyper-aware of everything that seems “new”, although it’s probably been happening my entire post-puberty life 🙁  Hopefully it means something for you, but I’ve all about given up on the symptom spotting since I swear I have every single one every single month and I am not pregnant!

Yes, this happened to me the first time this year. It freaked me out. I always figured that if it never happened by now, I would never have it happen unless I was pregnant or something. Silly sounding I know. Same exact thing happened two months in a row that your experiencing and I still had it normally both times.

@ThreeMeers:  Very promising! I think that HCG shows up about 2-3 days after implantation so if that truly was implantation bleeding then you should definitely test tomorrow! Fingers crossed for you!

@ThreeMeers:  If you did actually O after getting your positive OPK, then timing could be good for implantation bleeding. However, since you don’t know if you O’d at that time (since I guess you’re not charting BBT), then you can’t be sure. If you’re only 9DPO according to your estimated O date, then I’d probably wait to test until this weekend. Because your O date isn’t confirmed, you might be testing too early, which could give you a false negative. If seeing a negative test doesn’t bother you, then by all means test! Fingers crossed for you!
