I went to a great bridal shop and found a beautiful dress for a really good price and looks perfect on me. My problem is I had my heart set on a lace dress that was light and vintage. Our wedding is in a church, but the reception is at the family farm I love this dress, but do you think it is too formal for this wedding? Is it vintage enought to fit with our theme? What do you think?

I think, personally, wear what makes you feel like a bride. Who cares about location or theme. If it fits, great, if not, oh well.

Theres no such thing as too formal for the bride! Wear whatever dress you want!

I agree with the PP’s. Wear what makes you happy! It’s your day!

I don’t think wedding dresses should match a theme. I see it all the time on wedding tv shows… but I don’t get it. Most wedding dresses are formal, you’re not going to look weird at the farm 🙂
