i didnt’ choose any option, because i think you should do what you feel most comfortable doing.  lots of stores have summer white dresses out now…  why not take a ride to the mall, try on some white dresses, and see how you feel.

i love your dress.  i’m wearing a casual dress too, a white linen sheath.  it’s plain and simple and white, because i figured i’d never wear a white dress any other time in my life!  you should do what feels best for you.

I like VagabondGurl’s idea.  It doesn’t hurt to go check out some white dresses. If you see something you like then you can get it. If nothing really catches your eye then you don’t have to worry since you already have a dress.

I would go shopping just to take the doubt out of my head. Is there a friend that does like shopping that you can take with you?

I think you should wear whatever makes you feel beautiful and special on your day.  If the dress you bought makes you feel this way, wear it.  If you’re thinking you want something more formal, there would be lots of options other than just a white dress.  I think colored wedding dresses are awesome!  If do you decide to look for something new, I agree with what other people have said about looking online.  If you hate shopping then I would look online and find one or two stores that have styles you like so you don’t have to spend a whole day checking random stores.  Good luck!

I voted “go shopping”, but I just meant that you should go check out a couple other options, not that you should rule your current dress out.  Sometimes trying on a couple different dresses will help you realize that you really want to wear the one you already have.  Or you could find another one you love.  So either way it will be a helpful thing.

Good luck and let us know what you do!

I know somesome who purchased a prom dress at J.C. Penny’s for her wedding dress.  She was lovely…..  Just look around and don’t rule anything out.  Your Esprit dress is really pretty….if you do find something else you can always wear it at some point in time.

It never hurts to look! And it will probably be a lot easier because you don’t have the pressure… you have a dress at home, and if you dont find anything you like more, it’s an easy decision!!

i say whatever your comfortable in, if you decide that you would feel  underdressed than just swing by a store and pick something up, but it’s really about what will make you feel beautiful and special!

I love that dress that songtokwok posted above.

I think you should look around either online or just browse some shops. There are a lot of white dresses out there now for summer. But the dress you have is fine too, if that’s what you want to wear. If you’re second guessing because you think you should be in all white, then don’t worry about it. However, if you’ve realized you want that bridal experience, being one of the few times you’ll be completely justified in wearing a fancier all-white dress, then definitely go shop so you don’t regret not doing the white dress thing.

This is just my opinion, but it just doesn’t seem very bridal to me. I would at least try to make it all white or all ivory, and then play it up with some pretty jewelry. The most important thing about it is how you feel in it, but if by all means you are happy with your selection, I say go for what makes you happy!
