So my work is having a “happy new years” party (I think mostly because there was too much going on to schedule a Christmas party. It’s a potluck and I volunteered to make brownies. Then I made the mistake of asking how many brownies I should make…I was told that I should make enough for 50 people.
So, my first important question is…how many brownies does one make for 50 people? It was suggested I make enough for 1.5 brownies a person, which would be 72 with the recipe I found (6 sticks of butter and 12 eggs…yay health!) Does this sound good? Or should I go with more/less?
Also…when I make the recipe I like, I tend to add different chips (butterscotch, white chocolate, etc). I think they make the brownies taste better, but I don’t know if I should do that this time around, since I won’t be able to warn people. But I’ll probably end up making 4 batches, so I thought maybe 1 butterscotch, 1 white chocolate, 2 regular? I don’t know…
So, any words of wisdom are appreciated! And sorry if I made anyone hungry…I definitely want some brownies now.
