I may have a few small children at my wedding/reception and wanted to know if should even think about renting high chairs for them. Sometimes I think it would be courteous, but other times I think why should I bother. I am thinking that maybe some people would take a notion to leave the kids at home. I don’t want to say ADULTS ONLY because my Maid/Matron of Honor has 2, but I wouldn’t mind. Suggestions? Comments?

@leahkeeter: I think it is very polite of you to be thinking of your guests in that regard, but I don’t think they will show up expecting high chairs, I would just stick with regular chairs.

ugh…no. dont worry about the high chairs…if they choose to bring children to the event they should know that high chairs wont be part of your decor!

I wouldn’t worry about it. Most people bringing kids to a wedding know to come prepared. Either kids are big enough to sit in a regular chair or they’ve usually got some sort of seat they have to use in the car so the parents can just use that for them.
