LMAO. I also gained a slight trail when I had my son. It is only a few hairs and I usually just shave them like normal. I also started getting darker hair on teh bottoms of my legs. So I really only have to shave below the knee since i am a natural blonde…lol.

@AvantLaLettre: Just to let you know, I have it too.  It’s not much, but it’s absolutely there.  I was just going to leave it and see if it went away after the baby gets here.

When you are pregnant your hair follicles don’t fall out as often so the hair grows longer and darker.  I noticed it more on my legs, but the happy trail is probably where your linea negra will be!

I just saw this – but my hair is definitely coming in more, which is distressing, because I am already an every second day shaver, and I really don’t want to look like a gorilla/wooly mammoth!

I can’t remember the last time I shaved my own legs….lol. Darling Husband is helping at this point since I can’t see anything to tell if I missed a huge section or not.

@AvantLaLettre: Mine didn’t come until 9 months, but I think it can be as early as 20 weeks that it can show up.  It did eventualy fade (like a year postpartum).

@MightySapphire: ditto to the linea negra guess.Totally happened to me during my 1st pregnancy; linea negra showed up right where the hairs had appeared around my 2nd tri and stayed until about 1yr postpartum. completely normal. Not every woman has or gets, but definitely a common pregnancy thing.
