1. How many people did you bring with you to your appointment?

For my first appointment, my mom and a friend, second appointment was with two friends, and third appointment (where I got my dress) was my mom and my sister (MOH). I agree with those who said that too many opinions is confusing and overwhelming, so only include those whose opinion you trust!

2. How long was your appointment and how many dresses did you try on?

They were all 1 hour to 1.5 hours, probably tried on 6-8 dresses at each place.

3. Did you do anything to prepare for your appointment?

I sent the shop a list of dresses I was interested in from their website. I thought this was helpful! Even if they don’t have all the dresses in the store, it gives them a better idea of what you’re looking for.

4. How many salons did you visit before you found “the dress”?

Three. Just chose my dress a week ago! 🙂

5. How far away was your wedding when you ordered your gown?

Ordered in September for my wedding next June, so 9 months in advance. The dress is expected to arrive by end of December.

Happy dress hunting!

I’m also a Hayley Paige bride – good choice!

1. How many people did you bring with you to your appointment?

Just my mom.

2. How long was your appointment and how many dresses did you try on?

90 minute appointment, I think I tried on 8 or 9 dresses.

3. Did you do anything to prepare for your appointment?

Spanx, nice makeup, and hair blown out with a clip to hold it up if I needed to.

4. How many salons did you visit before you found “the dress”?

One, and I bought the first dress. I’d been looking at it online for weeks, so I knew exactly which one I wanted to try. Nothing else compared. I had two other appointments scheduled for that day and I cancelled them both.

5. How far away was your wedding when you ordered your gown?

Ten months. I was hoping to wait longer, but that was the weekend my mom was visiting me.

1- My mum and my two sisters.

2- Actually, I don’t really know. 2 hours maybe? . I tried five dresses. I bought the first one.

3- I bought some nude underwear.  Also, I looked lots of pictures of dresses and I watched like thousands of episodes of SYTTD. It might look silly but it helped me a lot because I had really good  idea of what I wanted or not.

4- As I said I bought the first dress I tried, so only one. I chosed that  salon first  becouse my sisters got their dresses there and I knew were very professionals there and that they had a killing alterations service.

5- I’m getting married in October, and I ordered my dress in February.
