@seahorsey: Anything with a crockpot.  Set and leave until it’s done.  Right now I’m cooking so homemade gravy (or sauce for you non-Italians!) with meatballs and sausage.  Just waiting on my pasta and that’s it!

We did pulled pork in the crockpot for Christmas.

Soups are great in there too.

Anything really!

This may not be for everyone (super, super simple) but I LOVE to just eat some steamed rice with a couple of fried eggs on top and some steamed broccoli, with some soy sauce and sriracha. I stick the rice into a rice cooker and the broccoli into the steamer tray it came with (or I microwave the broccoli for 2 minutes), fry the egg when it’s almost done, put it all together in a bowl and enjoy. I make a lot of veggie stir fries with eggs, too; they take about 5 minutes to cook, so they couldn’t be easier!

Another easy dish is cottage pie. Cook some ground beef with frozen peas and carrots and seasoning, top with mashed potatoes and shredded cheese and bake in the oven for 25 minutes or so. Easy!

@seahorsey: Big tip, George Foreman grills cook stuff super fast! I made burgers the other day in like ten minutes that includes washing the dishes, the meat was fully cooked & not burnt at all. I now make lots of things with bacon on it (also cooks super fast in the grill.) Oh & steak cooks super fast in the grill too! But this is only the case if you’re a meat eater. (Idk if you are or not but had to fill you in!) lol

@Rouquine: Agreed! we always do pulled chicken! its great for quesadilla’s, pizza, sandwhiches…all kinds of stuff. Its super easy to make and stores well in the fridge.

I also love a good stir fry. Broccoli, 90 second rice, chicken or steak. takes about 15 minutes to make.

i make a casserole almost every sunday and I seperate it out into tupperware and I put some in the fridge to eat over the week and others to freeze and then I pull out some of the prior weeks ones so that I don’t have to eat the same things everyday.

this is mostly what I do for lunches but once in a while when SO and I don’t eat the same thing I’ll have one.

@seahorsey: Yes, we actually put it on and then went out tonight for a little bit to run errands. =) It’s a GOOD use.  Trust me.

@seahorsey: You’re welcome! You can get them for like 20 bucks at walmart! Depending on the size you want. Our first one was 17 bucks but we just upgraded to a bigger one. Don’t know how much it costs cause it was a Christmas gift. πŸ˜›
