NO. There isn’t one.
I know a lot of people are looking for an easy fix. HGC, eating ridiculously below 1200 calories, crazy fad diets where you drink only juice or cabbage soup all day. Weight loss is NOT an easy fix. You can’t have it handed to you on a silver platter. Gasp! You have to work for it.
People get up one day and say, “I’m going to start exercising tomorrow! I’m going to start eating better tomorrow!” Then the next day, they say the same thing and “tomorrow” never comes. Start TODAY.
STICK TO IT.
The biggest reason why people don’t lose weight is because they don’t stick to it! Consistency is SO important for weight loss. Eating healthy (lean meat, tons of veggies and fruit), not binging on junk food and fast food, staying focused and exercising.
“Aw, but MrsJenBee, it’s soooo hard. I LOVE JUNK FOOOOD”. Okay, well. How bad do you want to lose weight? Sugars and all that crap is TERRIBLE for your body. You need to focus yourself and ask yourself, “Just how bad do I want to lose weight?” because it won’t come easy. Think of what motivates YOU.
Humans are MADE to be able to lose weight. We have the power, just utilize it!
Getting in 15 minutes of intense exercise is better than nothing. Don’t have the money for a gym? OH MAN, LUCKY WE HAVE THE INTERNET! Here are some great work outs you can do from HOME at Insane Home Fatloss. You don’t even need a gym!
You don’t have time? You have a busy job? You’re too tired? Give me a break, you can’t fit in 15 minutes of exercise? Wake up 15 minutes earlier.
There are NO excuses. You CAN do it!!!!
Cardio is great, but weight lifting is JUST as good. Gaining muscle will help you lose weight while you’re NOT exercising. You will NOT get bulky lifting HEAVY, that is a HUGE HUGE MYTH. Women who are bodybuilders that are SUPER bulky do it because they lift heavy ANDDDD eat 3000 calories a day. You have to try VERY hard to get bulky from weight lifting. Just saying. But hey, cardio is good too.
No elliptical? No treadmill? Run outside. You can do it. Just go in with the mindset that there can be NO EXCUSES. You can do it.
I could go on and on, but I’m tired now. Hopefully this is useful. Remember. STICK TO IT and THERE ARE NO EXCUSES. Good luck!
ALSO, I am not a certified trainer or anything like that, but I’m speaking from my experience. Here are 6 months of my STICKING TO IT and NO EXCUSES:
