I normally don’t like sashes but it really defines your waist. I would say yes, sash!

sashes feel a little dated to me, i think it is nicer without. a blingly colorless belt might have a similar and more updated waist defining effect.

I don’t like this one – it just looks like a cloth band around your waist and it doesn’t work with the dress at all.  I say leave it off.

Great dress though – love the skirt.

I think it looks perfect without the sash. I don’t like sashes to be honest, I feel like they look dated. A simple jeweled belt could also look nice.

im typically against sashes but this one really makes your waist look tiny and really ‘finishes’ your look, so I’d go with it!

paintedporrim :  if you can, buy a jeweled belt instead. i’m normally team No Belt, but i think this particular dress calls for something at the waist. BUT the sash you have is not good. it doesn’t nothing for the ddress, and just looked cheap and dated. if you can’t get a new belt, then skip it altogether.

The sash cuts you in half and you are ROCKING that dress with your figure, so I say no sash. And like PP said, I feel they’re a little dated…

Agree with PPs. The sash cuts you in a half, it looks so much better without.

I agree with PP if you are going to do a sash, it do something beaded that blends into the dress a little more. The plum one is not my favorite, but I do think you need something at your waist. I would grab a blingy one and add that

The sash really takes away from your dress bee, it makes it more prom-y and less bridal. You look stunning without! Glad you are leaning towards no sash 🙂

If you want to keep the sash/belt, go skinnier for sure! That way you get both sash and waist definition.

Hm, I normally love colours, but this plum belt does cut you in half visually as PP mentioned. Your figure looks amazing in the dress as is. If the colour plum is important to you, can you bring it into the other accessories like a wrap, clutch or ribbons on a bouquet?
